Volunteer Schedule

  • 7:30-8:30am – Set-up (8:30am Nursery drop-off)
  • 8:30-8:45am – Leader Prayer Time and Announcements
  • 8:45-9am – Receive kids (Auditorium for Kinder-6th; Assigned classrooms for 3 year-olds, 4 year-olds and Transitional Kinder)
  • 9-9:25am – Main Stage (Auditorium) – Children (Kindergarten -6th grade) are dropped off and connect with their leaders. Welcome, songs, skit, video, instructions, dismissal to tracks
  • 9:30-11:30am – Rotations specific to camp tracks
  • 11:35-noon – Main Stage (Auditorium) – Closing songs, an object lesson, a daily lesson review, instructions for the next day, and dismissal (parent pick up)
Special note for parents/guardians of children registered for Create it! Preschool Track Preschoolers will not be part of the Main Stage large group time. Instead, you may take your child directly to their classroom, where their camp will begin at 9am. Pick up will be at noon in the same room you dropped them off. Free childcare will be provided for the babies and toddlers of all Mega Camp volunteers during the week of Mega Camp only. Please register your baby/toddler for childcare by contacting Shelby at shelby@creeksideeg.com  685-4821 ext. 107. Sorry no childcare provided for training sessions.
Training Dates: Basic Training
  • Wednesday, June 13 @ 6:30pm at Creekside Rm. A-1 or
  • Saturday, June 16 @ 10am at Creekside in Rm. A-1
  • Training will be 90 minutes and refreshments will be served.
  • Overview of Mega Camp (vision, purpose, theme, etc.)
  • Policy Review for all volunteers new to serving in Children’s Ministry at Creekside
  • How to Lead a Child to Christ for all volunteers who have not already received this training
  Mandatory Training
  • June 24 @ 1pm at Creekside in Rm. E-205
Purpose: Receive very important information that will help you be sufficiently equipped to serve each day.

  • Distribution and review of Leader Packets
  • Breakout training with Track Coordinators
  • Volunteers Receive Camp T-shirt
